Instructions

  • 1.   Remove the core and finely slice the red cabbage.
  • 2.   In a casserole dish, sauté the sliced red cabbage in a little olive oil. Let it cook down and in the meantime, peel and cut the apples into pieces. Add them to the casserole dish, stir, add salt, sugar, pour in the water, and add the vinegar.
  • 3.   Cover and let simmer for 1 hour. Regularly check the water level and add more if needed.
