Classical Family French Vegetarian
Course: Main course
Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking: 60 minutes


  • 1.   Take the half-cheese, scrape the crust to remove the thin layer of surface (do not remove the crust !!!).
  • 2.   Take a raclette oven, or - if you are in the open air - make a fire and let the ember come, before putting the half-cheese on a flat pebble.
  • 3.   Wait until the cheese melts and slide with a knife on a plate with a potato or slice of bread.
  • 4.   Do not forget to cut the edges of the melted cheese as it is called nuns!


  • To change, serve with a delicious tomato salad with ground pepper.
