1. Squeeze the lime. Peel the red onion and the garlic clove, then cut them into quarters.
2. Remove the skin from the avocados and remove the pit.
3. In the robot equipped with the ultrablade chopping knife, put the onion and garlic. Mix at speed 11 for 10 seconds.
4. Add the avocados, tomato pulp, Tabasco® and lime juice, then season with salt and pepper. Mix at speed 7 for 30 seconds. Scrape the sides and mix again if you want a creamier consistency. Serve chilled.
Notes & Suggestions
Choose ripe avocados.
Perfect for appetizers, you can garnish it with fresh herbs (chives or cilantro). For a less spicy version, replace the Tabasco® with 1 tsp of sweet paprika.
