Pad Thai cooked al dente

Stir-fried rice noodles in the air fryer with smoked tofu, leeks, scallions, cashews, and bean sprouts, soy sauce, and lime.

Instructions

  • 1.   Rehydrate the rice noodles according to the package instructions.
  • 2.   Rinse the scallions and leeks under clear water and finely chop. Coarsely chop the cashews. Cut the smoked tofu into small cubes.
  • 3.   Pour grape seed oil into the air fryer basket and add the scallions, leeks, cashews, tofu cubes, and sesame seeds.
  • 4.   Select the ROAST mode at 180°C and start cooking for 20 minutes. Mix regularly and after 8 minutes, add the mung beans. Mix and pour in the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and maple syrup. Let it cook while stirring regularly. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, drain the rice noodles and add them to the basket. Mix.
  • 5.   Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and chili flakes, drizzle with lime juice, and serve.
  • 6.   Enjoy hot.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Tip: add thin strips of bell peppers for added color.

  • 1 leek
  • 25 g of cashew nut
  • 150 g of smoked tofu
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seed
  • 170 g of soybean sprout
  • 3 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon of fresh coriander
  • 1 pinch of chili pepper
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of grape seed oil
