Quinoa, Banana, Almond, and Dark Chocolate Flakes Squares

Soft Banana-Quinoa Squares with Dark Chocolate Chips, baked in the air fryer (BAKE mode 160°C, 10-12 min). Equipment: 1 bowl and 1 rack.

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and mash the bananas in a bowl using a fork.
  • 2.   Add the quinoa flakes, almond butter, and three tablespoons of chocolate chips, then mix well.
  • 3.   Pour into a baking dish suitable for the air fryer or into a parchment paper-lined pan and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips.
  • 4.   Place on the rack in the bowl, select BAKE mode 160°C, and start cooking for 10 to 12 min.
  • 5.   Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Variations: Replace almond butter with hazelnut or peanut butter, and chocolate chips with walnuts, almonds, or chopped hazelnuts.
  • Tips: Choose a smooth whole almond butter for a successful recipe. Enjoy with Greek yogurt.
