Loubia Hamra, Moroccan-style white bean stew

Instructions

  • 1.   The day before, soak the white beans in a bowl filled with water (optional, depending on the variety of white beans chosen)
  • 2.   After draining the white beans, place them in the pot of your choice, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper, add minced garlic
  • 3.   Pour in the water, mix, and simmer for about 40 minutes over low heat, checking the cooking and extending if necessary
  • 4.   Sprinkle with parsley before serving and enjoy hot, alone or as a side dish with meat.

  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 ml of water
