Air fryer falafel

Instructions

  • 1.   Quickly remove the skins from the chickpeas by rolling them in a clean kitchen towel.
  • 2.   In the bowl of a food processor, add the chickpeas, onion, cumin, herbs, and a little salt and pepper. Pulse until you get a smooth and homogeneous paste.
  • 3.   Shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls and place them in the Air fryer basket.
  • 4.   Brush the tops with a little oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • 5.   Cook for 15 minutes at 180°C, flipping halfway through and making sure to brush the other side of the falafels with oil.

  • 300 g of chickpeas (canned, drained weight)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 stalk of fresh coriander
  • 1 stalk of fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seed
