Instructions

  • 1.   Rinse the split peas and sauté them in a drizzle of olive oil with garlic.
  • 2.   Add salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 45-60 minutes until the peas are tender.
  • 3.   Blend the soup to obtain a smooth and creamy texture. (Add a little water if you prefer it more liquid)
  • 4.   Serve hot, drizzle with a little olive oil, and sprinkle with cumin.

  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 800 ml of water
