Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the split peas in a large pot of salted water for 25 minutes. When they start to fall apart, drain them.
  • 2.   Sauté the chopped onion in olive oil in a small pot.
  • 3.   Add the split peas and cook for 10 minutes, adding a glass of water.
  • 4.   Blend, add salt and pepper, and serve.
