Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and core the apples before cutting them into small cubes.
  • 2.   In a bowl, mix these cubes with cinnamon and sweetener until coated.
  • 3.   In a bowl, mix 40g of cornstarch with 60ml of water, then heat for 20 seconds in the microwave.
  • 4.   Knead this dough, adding the remaining cornstarch to form a ball.
  • 5.   Cut the ball in half and form two logs about 15 cm long. Cut each log into six pieces.
  • 6.   Flatten each piece of dough with the palm of your hand to form a thin dumpling.
  • 7.   Place a spoonful of apple cubes in the center of each dumpling. Fold the dough over itself to form a half-moon, then pinch the edges or press them with a fork.
  • 8.   Place the dumplings side by side in the steamer basket, on parchment paper, making sure they do not touch.
  • 9.   Steam for 10 minutes.
  • 10.   Serve warm with a scoop of light sorbet, and enjoy!
