Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté finely sliced shallots and onions in olive oil.
  • 2.   Add carrots cut into small sticks, deseeded and peeled tomatoes, diced.
  • 3.   Add washed lentils and cover with water.
  • 4.   Add all the spices, salt, and simmer for 30 minutes, monitoring the water level.
  • 5.   Finally, sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 300 g of canned peeled tomato (optional)
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
