Peppers with Tomatoes

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the basil under cold water, pat dry, and chop.

    Peel the garlic cloves.
  • 2.   Slice the garlic cloves, wash the tomatoes under cold water, and dice.

    Cut the peppers, remove the core, and rinse.
  • 3.   Cut the peppers into thin strips.

    In a medium skillet, heat the oil, add onions and garlic cloves.

    Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • 4.   In the skillet, add the peppers, tomatoes, cook over moderate heat for about 15 to 20 minutes, then add the salt, pepper, and cumin.
  • 5.   At the end of cooking, add the basil and serve.
