Instructions

  • 1.   In a wok or a wide-rimmed pan, heat the oil and sauté the minced onion.
  • 2.   Add the cumin and turmeric until the onion is fully coated. Add the lentils, followed by the tomato puree and finally the coconut milk.
  • 3.   Add water if necessary to cover the mixture.
  • 4.   Let simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.

  • 10 g of ground cumin
  • 10 g of turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
