Instructions

  • 1.   1. Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces. Cook them in boiling water for about 20 minutes. They should be tender enough to easily mash them. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on the size of the pieces.
  • 2.   2. Season the mashed potatoes with a knob of butter or olive oil, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  • 3.   3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) in convection mode.
  • 4.   4. Peel and cut the carrots and onions into pieces. Crush the garlic cloves. Sauté everything in a pan with the lentils and a drizzle of olive oil for 10 minutes. Season with pepper and soy sauce.
  • 5.   5. Place the mixture in an ovenproof dish and cover with the mashed potatoes. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. After cooking, finish with parsley.
