Instructions

  • 1.   In a pot, rinse the rice with cold water. Do it several times until the water becomes clear. Drain it well.
  • 2.   In the same pot, cover the rice with cold water. Add salt.
  • 3.   Bring the rice to a boil over high heat. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low. Stir the rice and let it cook covered for 15 to 20 minutes without touching it.
  • 4.   Remove the pot from the heat and gently stir the rice with a wooden spoon.
  • 5.   Put the lid back on and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes off the heat. Serve.
