Moroccan Tomato and Cucumber Salad

A delicious Moroccan salad made with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, flavored with fresh mint and coriander, and dressed with a homemade vinaigrette that is very popular and known as Chlada or shlada arobiya.

Instructions

  • 1.   Rinse the tomatoes and cucumbers.
  • 2.   Peel the red onion. Slice the cucumbers into rounds and then into small cubes. Cut the tomato into small pieces.
  • 3.   Place the cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onions in a salad bowl.
  • 4.   Prepare the vinaigrette by mixing vinegar and salt in a small bowl, then add olive oil while whisking with a fork. Season with pepper.
  • 5.   Add the parsley (or coriander) and mint, and drizzle with the homemade vinaigrette. Place in the refrigerator for about ten minutes before serving.
  • 6.   Enjoy your meal!

  • 3 leaf of fresh mint
  • 4 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon of lemon juice
