Oven-Baked Root Vegetable Fries (kohlrabi / celeriac / radish)

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the vegetables and remove the skin using a knife or a vegetable peeler.
  • 2.   Cut into fries about 1 cm thick (cut the celeriac in half, then cut each half into 1 cm slices, and finally cut each slice into 1 cm fries).
  • 3.   Arrange the fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, and spices, and mix with your hands to coat evenly.
  • 4.   Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

Notes & Suggestions

  • Variation: for a sweeter and saltier version, mix with a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of mixed spices.
    Feel free to prepare a large quantity, as you can use the leftovers the next day to enhance a salad or a main dish.
