Apple Sorbet

An easy recipe for apple sorbet to cool down during hot summer days. You can replace the apples with any other fruit, the principle is the same ;-)

Instructions

  • 1.   Remove the stems from the apples, cut and core them, then slice them very thinly without peeling them.
  • 2.   Drizzle them with lemon juice and place them in the freezer overnight (about 12 hours).
    (You can replace the lemon with another citrus fruit, such as clementine).
  • 3.   Boil the water and sugar, then let it cool down.
  • 4.   Pour the syrup over the frozen apples, then immediately blend in a blender until smooth.
    It is important that the apples thaw as little as possible at this stage.
  • 5.   Transfer to a container and freeze for 6 hours.
  • 6.   Serve the sorbet with crunchy apple pieces, for example.
