Vegetable Lasagna (+ for baby)

Instructions

  • 1.   UTENSILS:
    ▢ A scale + A measuring cup.
    ▢ A tablespoon.
    ▢ A peeler.
    ▢ A vegetable knife.
    ▢ A cutting board for vegetables.
    ▢ A colander.
    ▢ A fork + A bowl.
    ▢ A frying pan and a saucepan.
    ▢ A steamer basket.
    ▢ A whisk.
    ▢ A blender.
    ▢ A gratin dish.
  • 2.   INSTRUCTIONS:
    A) Prepare the necessary ingredients and utensils.
    B) Preparations:
    __- Wash, peel, and dice the carrots.
    __- Drain and rinse the mushrooms and beans.
    __- Roughly mash the beans.
    __- Slice the onion and mushrooms.
    C) Steam the carrots for about 20 minutes. Set aside.
    D) In the frying pan (Vegetable sauce):
    __- Sauté the onion and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of oil.
    __- ⚠️ Add the tomato sauce and simmer over low heat. (See 4 months)
    E) In the saucepan (Bechamel sauce):
    __- Heat 3 tablespoons of oil. Add the flour. Mix. Reduce the heat.
    __- Gradually incorporate the milk.
    __- Mix for about 10 minutes until thickened.
    __- Remove from heat and add the nutmeg, mix.
    F) Preheat the oven to 200°C (Th.7 / 392°F).
    G) From here, prepare the baby's meal according to their age.
  • 3.   FROM 4 MONTHS: Carrot-tomato puree (100g):
    - ⚠️ Blend 100g of carrots with 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce.
    - Blend until smooth.
    🍽️ Serve hot.
  • 4.   FROM 6 MONTHS: Vegetable puree (150g):
    - Blend 100g of carrots + 50g of mushroom sauce.
    - Blend until thick.
    🍽️ Serve hot.
  • 5.   FROM 9 MONTHS: Vegetable pasta (170g):
    - Cook 20g of pasta. Drain.
    - Blend 75g of vegetable sauce + 75g of carrots.
    - Add a pinch of herbs.
    - Mix the pasta with the sauce.
    🍽️ Serve hot.
  • 6.   FROM 12 MONTHS: Vegetable Lasagna (200g) (+ adults):
    H) In the sauce, mix: carrots, beans, and seasonings.
    If the sauce is too thick, thin it with water.
    I) In the gratin dish:
    __- Place a generous layer of bechamel sauce.
    __- Alternate lasagna sheets and vegetable sauce.
    __- Finish with lasagna sheets and cover with bechamel sauce.
    J) Bake for about 20 minutes.
    🍽️ Serve hot.

    Choose pasta suitable for young children (9 months).

  • Sauce aux légumes :
  • 400 g of crushed tomato
  • 500 g of carrot
  • 250 g of canned mushroom
  • 250 g of canned red bean
  • 1 onion
  • 10 g of dried thyme
  • 10 g of dried oregano
  • Béchamel :
  • 5 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon of flour
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 5 g of nutmeg
