Split pea soup

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the split peas for 40 minutes. Skim.
  • 2.   Add the carrots, onions, bay leaves, and potatoes (all peeled beforehand) then cook for 25 minutes on low heat.
  • 3.   At the end of cooking, add the garlic cloves and turmeric. Add salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Remove the bay leaves.
  • 5.   Mix everything in a hand blender.
