Pumpkin Pie

Instructions

  • 1.   Prepare the pie crust: mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Incorporate the coconut oil by hand until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pour in the plant-based milk and mix until a smooth dough forms.
  • 2.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the pie crust and line a 24 cm (9-inch) pie dish.
  • 3.   Prepare the filling: blend all the ingredients together in a blender.
  • 4.   Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for 40-50 minutes.
  • 5.   Allow to cool and serve with whipped cream or lightly sweetened thick coconut cream :)

  • Pâte à tarte :
  • 240 g of flour
  • 130 g of sugar
  • 100 g of coconut oil
  • 80 ml of plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Garniture :
  • 1 pumpkin puree
  • 150 ml of plant-based milk
  • 80 g of cornstarch
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of garam masala
  • salt (according to taste)
