Red cabbage with apples (from my grandmother)

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the red cabbage into thin slices and remove the larger stems. Place them in the sink filled with water and wash twice. Drain in a colander.
  • 2.   In the pressure cooker, melt the margarine over low heat, then add the cabbage, salt, and pepper. Activate the cooking mode and mix for a few minutes.
  • 3.   Add the vinegar, apples sliced into thin slices, a little nutmeg, and brown sugar. Finally, add water.
  • 4.   Close the pressure cooker. When the pressure is reached, cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
  • 5.   It's ready!

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 2 apples
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
