Light Beef Meatballs Pasta with Carrots and Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water, following the package instructions.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, peel and finely slice the onion.
  • 3.   Peel and dice the carrot into small cubes.
  • 4.   Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet.
  • 5.   Sauté the onion until translucent.
  • 6.   Add the carrot and beef meatballs and cook for 10 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • 7.   Add the tomato sauce, chopped dill, salt, and pepper, and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes (until the carrot is cooked).
  • 8.   When the pasta is cooked, drain it and transfer it to plates.
  • 9.   Top with the beef mixture and serve immediately.

  • 250 g of pasta
  • 500 g of meatball
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 40 cl of diced tomato
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional)
  • 1 fresh dill
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
