Pineapple, Lime, and Avocado Smoothie in the Thermomix

Here is the recipe for a delicious green smoothie with pineapple, lime, banana, and avocado. It is the avocado that gives the smoothie its beautiful color. The avocado mainly adds creaminess to the smoothie, you don't really taste its flavor. You also benefit from all the minerals and vitamins it contains. Its fiber and fats make it a very satisfying food... and much healthier to start a meal with than a slice of quiche! Instructions

  • 1.   Place 50 grams of peeled limes without any white parts and seeds in the Thermomix.
  • 2.   Add 280 grams of diced pineapple, 100 grams of diced avocado, 100 grams of diced banana, and 100 grams of ice cubes to the Thermomix. Blend 1 min/speed 10.
  • 3.   Add 225 grams of orange juice and 225 grams of water to the Thermomix. Mix 10 sec/speed 5.
  • 4.   Serve immediately.

Notes & Suggestions

  • It is possible to freeze the ingredients for at least 6 hours and omit the ice cubes.
