1. Pour the packet of yeast into a bowl and add a little warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. Add the flour, margarine, and salt.
3. Gradually add water until you obtain a good consistency.
4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes. Cover with a towel and let it rise for 2 hours.
5. Punch down the dough and divide it into 6 equal parts.
6. Roll out the dough balls slightly with a rolling pin.
7. Heat a pot of oil.
8. Fry the bokits and drain them on paper towels. Remember to flip them regularly during cooking to ensure even cooking.
9. Cut open horizontally and fill to your liking (vegetables, salted cod chiquetaille, chicken, ham and cheese...)
