Instructions

  • 1.   Place the couscous in a bowl, moisten with warm water and optionally add turmeric to color it yellow. Let it rest for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally with a fork to prevent the grains from sticking together. Once all the water is absorbed, sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • 2.   Season with salt and pepper.
  • 3.   Stir in the chopped mint and parsley.
  • 4.   Mix well with a fork. Rinse the tomatoes and dice them.
  • 5.   Peel and finely chop the onions. Add the tomatoes and onions to the tabouleh. Drizzle with olive oil and mix. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
