Carrot and Sweet Potato Puree in the Thermomix

A delicious homemade puree to prepare using your Thermomix that will delight the little ones. Tip: For adults, season the puree with salt and pepper and add your favorite spices (broth, turmeric, curry, etc.). Optionally, before blending, add 2 tablespoons of cream and 20 grams of butter. Display the recipe as on my Thermomix.

Instructions

  • 1.   Place 500 grams of water in the Thermomix.
  • 2.   Add the steaming basket.
  • 3.   Place 250 grams of washed, peeled, and diced sweet potatoes, 180 grams of peeled, washed, and diced carrots in the steaming basket. Cook for 30 min/100°C/speed 2, then remove the steaming basket.
  • 4.   Discard the water and transfer the vegetables to the Thermomix.
  • 5.   Blend for 30 sec/speed 10. Then scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
  • 6.   Add a little mineral water if necessary.
  • 7.   Blend for 10 sec/speed 10.
  • 8.   Transfer to your small pots and let cool.
