Chayote Mash

Instructions

  • 1.   1- Cook the chayotes in boiling salted water for 30 minutes, then drain and let them cool.
    2- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    3- Peel the chayotes, cut them in half and remove their core.
    4- Cut them into large cubes and mash them with a fork.
    5- Add the butter in small pieces, then the boiling milk.

Ingredients for servings

  • 4 large chayote
  • 60 g of butter
  • 15 cl of milk
  • 1 handful of coarse salt
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
