Split Pea Soup

Instructions

  • 1.   In an oiled pot, brown the onion.
    Add the rinsed split peas.
    Add the cumin (optional) and vegetable broth.
    Pour in 1 liter of water and cover.
    Let cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2.   Blend the soup finely or not.
    Add homemade or organic sheep yogurt (optional).
    In a non-stick pan, grill the slices of smoked bacon until crispy (optional) not smoked AC.
    Serve the soup topped with grilled bacon.
