Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the pumpkin into fairly large cubes (remember that the pumpkin is full of water and will soften when cooked).
  • 2.   Sauté the pumpkin cubes in a pan with a little butter and olive oil.
  • 3.   Once the pumpkin has released its juice, season with pepper and add a little salt as the bacon is already salty. Add garlic and herbs such as Herbes de Provence.
  • 4.   Cook until the pumpkin is tender when pierced with a knife (like a potato), then add the smoked bacon and cream.
  • 5.   Cook for a few more minutes, then serve...
