Traditional Hot Chocolate

Instructions

. Heat the chocolate, maple syrup (or other sweetener), plant-based milk, and hazelnut butter. (if desired, using a double boiler).

. Stir gradually using a spoon or silicone spatula until the chocolate has melted and you have a smooth mixture (about 7 minutes).

. Add spices of your choice: vanilla extract, cinnamon, ground ginger, chili, orange zest. Mix well and serve immediately.
