Turkey with dried fruits and winter vegetables

Instructions

  • 1.   1. Wash and peel the vegetables. Cut them into small pieces.
  • 2.   2. Wash and peel the apple, remove the seeds, and cut it into pieces.
  • 3.   3. In a thick-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter. Add the shallots, then the turkey and brown on all sides. Sprinkle with four-spices and add a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  • 4.   4. Add the vegetables, apple, and dried apricots, cover halfway with water, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
  • 5.   5. Then add the prunes and raisins and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes without covering. The cooking juice should be syrupy at the end of cooking. If not, continue cooking for another 5 minutes without covering.
  • 6.   6. Off the heat, blend to obtain a texture suitable for baby: smooth for toddlers, mashed or with small pieces for older children.
