2. Drain, then crumble the canned tuna in a bowl, using a fork.
3. Add the cream, basil tomato sauce, lightly salt and pepper to taste, and mix well. Set aside.
4. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
5. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and cook the lasagna sheets in the boiling water. Cook them according to the package instructions or until they are al dente.
6. When the lasagna sheets are cooked, drain them on paper towels.
7. Pour a thin layer of the tuna and tomato sauce mixture into the bottom of a rectangular baking dish.
8. Place 3 drained lasagna sheets on the bottom of the dish. Cover with 1/3 of the tuna and tomato sauce mixture.
9. Place another 3 drained lasagna sheets on top and 1/3 of the tuna and tomato sauce mixture.
10. Repeat the process 1 more time and finish with a final layer of lasagna sheets.
11. Sprinkle the lasagna with grated gruyère cheese, then salt and pepper to taste.
12. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the cheese on top is golden brown.
13. Serve these tuna lasagna immediately after removing from the oven. Serve with a dressed green salad.
