Goat Cheese Turnip Flan

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the turnips into small cubes and cook them in boiling water until tender.
  • 2.   Once cooked, mash them into a smooth puree. Season with grated nutmeg.
  • 3.   Preheat your oven to 210°C (410°F).
  • 4.   Add 5 eggs to the puree, beat well, then add half a can of condensed milk.
  • 5.   Season with salt and pepper, cut some pieces of goat cheese and incorporate them into the mixture.
  • 6.   Grease a cake pan (or ramekins), pour in the batter.
  • 7.   Arrange pieces of goat cheese on top of your dish(es).
  • 8.   Bake in a water bath for about 20 minutes. Then check the consistency of your flan, it should be firm when you insert a knife blade into the center.
  • 9.   Enjoy your meal!
