Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F), peel the potatoes and thinly slice them (without rinsing them)
  • 2.   Arrange half of the potatoes in a gratin dish. Season with salt, sprinkle with grated nutmeg and 1/2 tsp minced garlic.
  • 3.   Cover with the remaining potatoes, season with salt, sprinkle with grated nutmeg.
  • 4.   Pour 200ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream + 500ml (2 cups) milk.
    Bake in the lower part of the oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

  • 20 cl of heavy cream
  • 50 cl of milk
  • salt (according to taste)
