Apple and Comté Cheese Brick

Choose a green apple to combine the acidity of the apple with the sweetness of the Comté cheese.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
    Cut the apple and cheese into pieces.
  • 2.   Spread a sheet of brick pastry, brush the center with oil to make it waterproof, and place the apple and cheese on top.
    Season with salt and pepper before closing the pastry (like a purse, spring roll, or samosa) to make a turnover.
  • 3.   Lightly brush the top of the turnover with a little olive oil and bake for 15 minutes.
