Chocolate Fondant Cake

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.
  • 3.   Mix the eggs, flour, and sugar together.
  • 4.   Add the melted chocolate and butter.
  • 5.   Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold.
  • 6.   Bake in the oven for 12 to 14 minutes (10 to 11 minutes for dark chocolate).
    After removing from the oven, the cake may appear undercooked, but that's normal. Let it cool and then remove it from the mold.
    Serve warm.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or a blend of 4 spices to the mixture.
