Quick Molten Chocolate Cake

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • 2.   In a saucepan, melt 2/3 of the chocolate and the butter cut into pieces over very low heat.
  • 3.   In a bowl, add the sugar, eggs, and flour. Mix.
  • 4.   Add the chocolate/butter mixture. Mix well.
  • 5.   Grease and flour your cake pan, then pour in the cake batter.
  • 6.   Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • 7.   When the cake comes out of the oven, it may not seem cooked enough. That's normal, let it cool down and then unmold it.
  • 8.   In a bowl, break the remaining milk chocolate into pieces and add the liquid fresh cream. Melt the mixture in a double boiler or in the microwave until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
  • 9.   Using a spatula, spread the chocolate mixture over the cake on all surfaces.

  • 5 cl of heavy cream
