Apple fritters

Instructions

  • 1.   Pour the sifted flour into a bowl and make a well in the center.
  • 2.   Add sunflower oil, yeast, cinnamon, and salt. Mix with a little warm water until you obtain a batter that forms a ribbon.
  • 3.   Incorporate the lightly beaten egg white. Let it rest for 2 hours at room temperature, covered with a cloth.
  • 4.   Heat the frying oil.
  • 5.   Peel and core the apples (golden or reinette). Cut them into slices and dip them in the batter.
  • 6.   Submerge them in the frying oil, let them brown for about 10 minutes, turning them over. Drain the fritters on absorbent paper.
  • 7.   Serve hot or warm, sprinkled with sugar.

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 4 apples
  • 30 g of powdered sugar
