Homemade yogurt without powdered milk

Instructions

  • 1.   Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan, and maintain it at over 80 degrees C for 15 minutes.
  • 2.   Then let the milk cool down to 60 degrees C.

    Take the equivalent of a glass of milk and whisk in the 3 tsp of yogurt. Pour back into the rest of the milk and whisk together.
  • 3.   Pour into the yogurt jars.
  • 4.   Simply set your electric yogurt maker for a duration of 3 hours (while with the standard method of cold milk + powdered milk, it takes about ten hours!)
  • 5.   Let the yogurts cool down and then place them in the refrigerator.

    Enjoy your meal!
  • 6.   Note: To obtain firm yogurts, the yogurt maker should not be moved or subjected to vibrations.
