Tomato and Basil Gnocchi Gratin

A simple and quick gratin to prepare, ideal for a friendly meal. Gnocchi are combined with peeled tomatoes, Gruyère cheese, and basil for a flavorful dish.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • 2.   Cook the gnocchi for 1 minute in a pot of boiling water. Drain them and then pour them into a buttered baking dish.
  • 3.   Pour over the sliced peeled tomatoes, grated Gruyère cheese, and chopped basil, season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Bake for 15 minutes until the gratin is lightly golden.

  • 1 cup of canned peeled tomato
  • 150 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 tablespoon of basil
  • 1 butter
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
