Spiced Pear Cider Jelly

Instructions

  • 1.   1. Bring the Pear Cider to a boil with the agar (and sugar if you deem it necessary) for 30 seconds while whisking.
  • 2.   2. Pour into glasses when the mixture is lukewarm.
  • 3.   4. Once the jelly has set and the pears have cooled, add 2 teaspoons into each glass.
  • 4.   3. Sauté the diced pears with butter, sugar, the 5-spice blend, and lemon juice. Do not overcook as the pears should hold their shape.
  • 5.   5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
