Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Paprika

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut off the base of the Brussels sprouts and remove any damaged leaves. Cut them in half if they are large.

    Plunge them in water to wash and drain them.
  • 2.   Pour them into a large skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter. Cook over medium heat and covered for a good 10 minutes, stirring often.
  • 3.   Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and coat the Brussels sprouts well.

    Sprinkle with paprika, pepper, and salt, and cook for 5 minutes over high heat, stirring regularly.

    Optionally add a little more olive oil or butter.

    Serve immediately.
