Chakchouka & couscous (quick)

Variation of Chakchouka but made to be prepared very quickly

Instructions

  • 1.   Prepare the seasoning with only the tomato sauce, taste and adjust. With the ingredients it's complicated to mix
  • 2.   Add all the whole tomatoes, chickpeas, and the can of vegetables (using Cassegrain tajine vegetables) until everything is heated through.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, prepare the couscous (couscous, hot water, salt, olive oil)
  • 4.   Crack the eggs and cover to cook them gently (add the yolks at a later time so they are soft)
  • 5.   Add the cashews on the dish when serving

  • Chakchouka :
  • 400 g of canned peeled tomato
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tablespoon of chickpeas (canned, drained weight)
  • 2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cumin
  • 20 g of cashew nut
  • Semoule :
  • 2 cup of fine couscous semolina
  • 2 cup of boiling water
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 small canned vegetables
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
