Steamed cod with soy sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the steamer.
  • 2.   Rinse and pat dry the cod fillet. Cut the fish into large cubes. Spread the cubes on a small dish that fits in the steamer.
  • 3.   Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, powdered sugar, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with pepper and mix. Pour the marinade over the fish.
  • 4.   Peel the turnips and place them in the steamer.
  • 5.   Place the dish in the steamer basket and steam for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the fish pieces.
  • 6.   Serve hot with a carrot and endive puree.

  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 4 turnips
