Indian Spiced Cauliflower Sauté

Instructions

  • 1.   Start by cutting the raw cauliflower into florets.
  • 2.   Cook the cauliflower in a large pot of boiling salted water for about 7 minutes.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, peel and roughly chop the garlic and fresh ginger, then blend them in a food processor to obtain a paste.
  • 4.   Drain the cooked cauliflower using a colander. It should still be slightly firm.
  • 5.   In a large hot sauté pan with melted butter, add the coriander and cumin and mix for a few seconds.
  • 6.   Then add the blended garlic and ginger and sauté for a few moments.
  • 7.   Next, add the turmeric and cauliflower.
  • 8.   Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix well, and let simmer covered over low heat for 3 minutes.
  • 9.   It's ready!

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon of ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cumin
