Instructions

  • 1.   Open the vanilla pod in half, scrape the seeds, and put in a saucepan with the milk
  • 2.   Heat the milk without boiling it, add the butter and let it cool, allowing the vanilla to infuse
  • 3.   Beat the eggs and sugar, add a pinch of salt
  • 4.   Gradually add this mixture to the flour, then add the milk-butter mixture while whisking well
  • 5.   Add a teaspoon of rum or orange blossom
  • 6.   Check the consistency of the batter, if it is too thick, add a little milk
  • 7.   Heat your skillet and add a knob of butter before cooking each crepe.
