Beet and potato mash

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the potatoes, rinse under cold water, cut into large cubes.

    Cut the beet into cubes.

    Place in the blender.
  • 2.   In the blender, add the milk, blend until smooth.

    In a large saucepan, add cold water.
  • 3.   Place the potatoes in the cold water, bring to a boil, cook for about 15 minutes,

    check for doneness by inserting a knife blade.
  • 4.   Drain the potatoes. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over very low heat.

    Mash the potatoes with a potato masher.
  • 5.   Pour and heat while mixing the mash over low heat, add the red beet, salt, mix, taste, adjust seasoning.
  • 6.   You can reheat it in the microwave, serve with a garnish of your choice.
