Lentil curry with spinach and rice

Instructions

  • 1.   Rinse the lentils.
  • 2.   Start cooking the blond lentils in cold water, using twice their volume of water.
  • 3.   Cook them for about twenty minutes.
  • 4.   Rinse the spinach if using fresh.
  • 5.   Sauté the spinach with a little garlic and a drop of canola oil for a few minutes.
  • 6.   Cook the rice in two volumes of water with a pinch of salt, covered, for 10 minutes.
  • 7.   Add water during cooking if necessary.

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 2 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
