Chocolate and Sweet Potato Brownie

Fudgy Brownie without Added Sugar, made with sweet potato. Low GI, easy and delicious recipe.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler.
  • 3.   Mix the sweet potato puree with the eggs, and the melted chocolate.
  • 4.   Add the flour, almond powder, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  • 5.   Mix until you get a smooth batter.
  • 6.   Pour into a square or rectangular baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  • 7.   Bake for 25 minutes. Let it cool before cutting.
  • 8.   Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.

  • 200 g of sweet potato puree
  • 100 g of dark chocolate 85%
  • 2 Eggs
  • 30 g of almond powder
  • 30 g of whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa
  • 1.5 tablespoon of agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 pinch of crushed hazelnut
  • salt (according to taste)
